Natalie
Pride and Prejudice Theme Senior Portrait Photography
This past summer, I traveled to England with Natalie’s family to shoot a wedding. Natalie, who was one of the bridesmaids in the wedding, asked me to shoot her senior pictures while there. Natalie is a HUGE fan of Pride and Prejudice, and wanted to do her pictures at several of the locations depicted in the movie. We did this shoot over several days, starting at the Chatsworth House where we did pix inside the main house as well as out on the beautiful surrounding grounds. You can’t tell from the pix, but it was pouring down rain and we had to hide under our umbrellas between shots. If you look closely, you can see raindrops in several of the images. (I’ve never been more thankful that my Nikons are weather-sealed.)
Later the same day, we traveled over to Peak District National Park and trekked up the hillside, dodging goats and slipping in the mud along the way. It was totally worth it to capture these great images overlooking the valley.
We spent a day in Oxford doing touristy things, but I coaxed Natalie into grabbing a few pix along the way in this wonderful old city.
Last day before heading off to Cornwall for the wedding and we spent several hours at Stourhead Garden, Wiltshire shooting in and around the Temple of Apollo. It was an incredible setting and Natalie and I had a great time coming up with multiple images. Hard to decide which was my favorites, but I did my best to narrow them down.
